  1. Surreal Representation of the Mind BY: Christian Vandenberg

  2. Step one: Open a New Blank File

  3. Step two: Creating the Sky Find yourself a picture of the sky to use as your background Make the picture you choose something different and kind of trippy, and bring it down so there’s about a third of the checkerboard background showing.

  4. Step three: Create the Floor Now, we will proceed to making the wooden floor to where the woman’s head is floating on. To start, open an image of a hardwood floor texture, or the texture you desire.Change the perspective of your floor so it doesn’t look flat.

  5. Step four: The Woman Open an image of a woman and use the polygonal tool to cut out her face.

  6. Apply a drop shadow Apply a drop shadow under her head

  7. Adjust the Opacity Adjust the opacity so her head is slightly transparent

  8. Step five: The eyes As you could tell from the first picture, the woman has to circular objects covering her eyes, we’re going to do the same but I’m going to use different things so the finished images aren't too similar.

  9. The Other Eye Find something else for the other eye, it doesn’t have to be a circle.

  10. Stuff coming out of her head Start finding a few random objects you can cut out and put in and above her head.

  11. Apply a filter Filter>Texture>grain And you’re done!
