Color • This is a color shot because you can see the red, yellow, and a little green on the shell.
Lines • You can see individual lines on the shell while It’s in the spiral.
Close-up • This shot is Close-up because It’s so close in the shell you can see the inside.
Framing • I used the sand to set up a square-like frame around the shell.
Simplicity • This photo is simplicity because nothing is happening in it but the shell sitting there.
Lighting • This photo is Lighting because I was shining my phone flashlight on it.
Black and white I changed the normal shot to Black and white.
Rule of thirds I centered the two rocks next to the spiral but it was obvious that the center is the spiral.
Balance I used the tiny shells to surround the big shell and center it a.k.a. balance.
Editing techniques I made the shell colorful and the rest black and white for editing techniques.
