  2. Save the girl child campaign includes • Prevention • Protection • Punishment

  3. Prevention • Implementation of PCPNDT Act, 1994 by appropriate authority. • Awareness of PCPNDT Act, 1994 • General public, • Doctors & • Owners of registered centers. • Organizing sub-district, district & state level advisory committee regularly. • Mass publicity of views expressed by different religious leaders.

  4. Protection of girl child • Tracking of pregnancy since conception till delivery. • Cross checking of staff engaged in maintaining record of pregnant woman. • Awareness to pregnant women that there no difference in girl child & boy child. • Better health care of female child.

  5. Punishment • Doctors, registered centers etc, if found in unlawful activity. • Unlawful advertisement of sonography centers or doctors in person.

  6. MNGO/NGO to play role by taking initiation for checking of registered centers along with concern appropriate authority.
