Inmate Industries: Working for the Community • LAPCORR INDUSTRIES • Produces and sells various products using offender labor for sale to government and non for profit associations in Louisiana • Outside Offender Work Crews • Contractual and service crews which provide roadway cleanups, grounds maintenance or general janitorial services. • Transport Bus Operations • Forty passenger buses transport over 300 offender workers each day to job sites • Litter Abatement • Partnership with the 15th Judicial District Court System Provides a variety of job opportunities aimed at reducing offender idleness, developing a good work ethic and teaching a marketable job skill.
