Additional examples: 1) The book sells well. 2) My pen writes well/ smoothly. 3) The door opens on to the garden. 4) The door locks easily. 5) Leather shoes wear long. ② Nouns like employee, payee, committee, adjectives like eatable, drinkable, unbelievable, respectful have passive connotation.

  18. 2)The use of “of + n.” “of + n.” is used to describe a person or thing by saying what their main qualities or features are.
