WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE IN PLACE BEFORE APPLYING TO COLLEGE? When students, planning to apply to a 4-year college/university, begin their Senior Year, they should have a Portfolio containing information that will help complete the necessary steps for College Applications. This process will be assisted by NAVIANCE. Students Should Have The Following Portfolio Items Entering The Senior Year: • A list of 5-10 colleges/universities to which you want to apply. • SAT/ACT Scores from your Junior Year. • Copy of your Transcript. • A Calendar: To keep track of important dates. • An E-mail Account: Make sure it is appropriate for College Admission Officers. Remove spam blockers. • Facebook: Remove any pictures or wording that could be offensive if viewed by an Admissions Officer.
