  2. Do you feel things in the country are going in the right direction, or do you feel things have gotten off on the wrong track?

  3. Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as President?

  4. If the election for Congress were being held today, and you had to make a choice, would you be voting for the Republican candidate or the Democrat candidate in your district?

  5. If the election for President were held today and you had to make a choice, for whom would you vote, the Republican nominee or Barack Obama, the Democrat?

  6. Wouldyou say that you approve or disapprove of the job President Obama is doing handling the rise in gas prices?

  7. What should be a higher priority for the federal government right now:Spending more to help the economy recover, orSpending less to reduce the budget deficit?

  8. How concerned are you about the federal government’s current level of spending and debt: very concerned, somewhat concerned, not too concerned, or not concerned at all?

  9. Do you think you will reach, as you define it, the American Dream in your lifetime or have you already reached it?

  10. Do you believe that the next generation of Americans will be better off financially than the current generation?

  11. Please tell me, using a scale from 0 to 10, where 0 means "not at all concerned” and 10 means "extremely concerned”, how concerned you are with the number of Hispanic or Latino people in the United States living in poverty.

Some people say that the number of Hispanics and Latinos living in poverty in the United States today is because there is too much dependence on government aid programs Other people say that the number of Hispanics and Latinos living in poverty in the United States today is because the government has not done enough to help people get out of poverty Now I’d like to read you two viewpoints. Please tell me which one comes closest to your own.

  16. Compared to four years ago, do you believe it is easier or harder for Hispanics and Latinos to open a business in America today?

  17. How important do you feel it is for Congress to deal with the issue of illegal immigration this year? Would you say that it extremely important, very important, somewhat important, or not at all important?
