  1. How does aluminium fit well into our window selection criteria? Most of us have surely heard about the advantages of installing aluminium windows system in their house. But have you ever given it a thought as to what may be the reason that such a wide range of window makers actually prefer to have aluminium windows delivered to their customers? Today, let’s look at the various reasons for what makes aluminium such a popular metal and raw material amongst the manufacturers of windows and sometimes, even the interior designers so much, that even if the core window is not made of aluminium, it is given a finishing touch with a layer of aluminium that is said to extend its life. In the older windows that we see in our houses, we are bound to see how these windows are many a times very difficult to work with. The windows that have iron frame are first of all very heavy, and thus causing the user of these windows a lot of inconvenience. Not just that, but there are chances of injuries from these iron frames as well, which is dangerous and could cause tetanus. On the other hand, aluminium is a very friendly metal, safe to say. Aluminium is light weight and hence, it is very easy to operate with these windows and door system. Moreover, aluminium window framesare less risky in use too. we do not say that there won’t ever be a possible injury, however, if at all there is such a case then at least it is not too dangerous. Although we have mentioned that aluminium is a very light metal, it does not mean that it is not strong. In fact, aluminium is one of the strongest metals in use. It is due to its sturdy property that aluminium is extensively used in window frames of high-rise towers. With aluminium having become such a huge success amongst the window makers, aluminium sliding windows also caught on very soon. www.geetaaluminium.com

  2. Sliding windows were any way very popular before this switch from iron to aluminium happened. However, with aluminium, there is an added advantage of light weight and its anti-spoilage physical property. Which means, that no matter what the weather outside is, aluminium will stand strong like a pillar to repel it. If you look closely, you will notice that the varied degrees of temperatures do not seem to affect the window frame at all. It does not rust, does not corrode, does not weaken and plus, performs as a great insulator too (which means it keeps the temperature intact in the room). It might seem in the first go that a metal that provides and does so many functions might actually be very expensive to have in the window frame. But aluminium debunks this myth as well. The cost of setting up aluminium window frames is not a lot. Since, aluminium is found in the crust of the earth, which means the upper layer, it is easily extracted, does reducing the cost of procurement of aluminium to a large extend, following less price over all. www.geetaaluminium.com
