B.Tech: • Successful completion of +2 Science with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science with a minimum of 45% (Aggregate) or 40% (Agrgregate in case of SC /ST ) in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry /Biology /Biotechnology /Computer Science is a must. •  For admission into 1st year B.Tech programme a student has to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) conducted by CBSE. One all India merit list the other for Odisha state candidates only. 70% of the seats shall be filled up in Govt. of Odisha counseling, taking students from the Odisha merit list. B.Tech(LE): • Passed or appeared in 3 years Diploma Engineering Examination from State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTE & VT), Odisha / from an AICTE approved Institute / from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology. •  The native of Odisha as well as the outside state candidates are eligible for admission under Lateral Entry. But, separate merit list shall be drawn for such outside state candidates and they will be allowed for admission in through centralized counseling conducted by the OJEE committee. Results of final diploma examination must be available on the date of document verification during counseling. 4. M.Tech: • Engineering / Technology : GATE qualified candidates or pass or appearing B.Tech/B.E examination from a recognized university with CGPA 6.5 (10 point scale) or 60% marks. GATE qualified candidates or pass or appearing in MCA examination from a recognized university with CGPA 6.5 or 60% marks only for M. Tech in Computer Science and Computer science & IT branches. •  (a) Preference will be given to candidates having a valid GATE score and •  (b) non-GATE candidates having a minimum of 60% in aggregate OR CGPA of 6.5/10 at B.Tech./B.E level can also apply.
