  2. Directions: • With your partner, develop 3 word problems which involve multiplying decimals by decimals. • Determine a strategy to use for teaching/showing your “students” how to solve your problems.

  3. What strategies? • Think of strategies you’ve used to help solve multiplication of decimals problems.

  4. Materials you can use: • Base-ten blocks • Unifix cubes • Beans • Graph paper • Notebook paper • Pencils • Crayons • Colored pencils • Etc.

  5. Create your lesson • Create a presentation for your lesson using PowerPoint or Prezi. • Type you 3 problems into three slides. • When you present your lesson, you’ll project the problem and talk to the students about how to use your strategy to solve each problem.
