  2. Wumail Basics • How to Login to Wumail • Using any Internet Browser 24/7 – type wumail.widener.edu in the address bar. • The Wumail Login Page will appear • Login name = Novell/Campus Cruiser login name • Password = Novell/Campus Cruiser password Secure Access Anywhere – Any Place – Any Time

  3. Setting Options in WUMail • Click on Options • Fill in Name and Time Zone • Chose Theme Color • Mail: • Settings: Messages per page -300 • Settings: Message Pane – Hide > APPLY • Composing: HTML • Composing: Include Original Inline > APPLY • Signature: Set up Signature>Yes>APPLY

  4. Setting Options – Wumail Calendar • Presentation – Set up Calendar view • Day Start, Day End, Weekly Default View • Reminders – Set Email Reminders • Sharing Controls – ADVANCED CLASS • Subscriptions - ADVANCED CLASS

WUmail • Wumail opens directly to your Inbox after you type your login name and password. • Quota Bar tells you how full your mail boxes are – please remember ALL folders are included in your quota • Wumail quota is 5X greater than old Muse/Justice/Cadet account • Help available 24/7 on the site

Inbox • Menu above Inbox • New – New Mail Message/Folder • Delete - Delete/Empty Mail • SPAM – check off box next to message and mark as SPAM – this removes the message to the trash • SPAM Fingerprint/Footprint • Move – List of Folders to move messages • Search Option • Check Mail • Layout Icon’s to change the view of Inbox

  7. Folders • Creating a New Folder • Click on New and scroll to Folder • Double click on My Folders • Type in Name for New Folder and click Add • How to view Folders • Double Click on My Folders • Editing and Deleting Folders • How to delete multiple entries at once

Contacts • Click on Contacts to view Contacts • Click New to create a new entry in Contacts • Click on Tools – Find Directory Data Contacts to search the Widener Directory for a name • Direct to www.widener.edu/wumail for documentation to moving other address books (Netscape, Thunderbird, Outlook)

Copying your Campus Cruiser Addresses into WUmail • Must export from Cruiser and Import into Wumail. • Open Campus Crusier>Click on Addressbook>Import/Export • Scroll Down to Export (Microsoft Outlook.CSV file) > Click Export> Save to Desktop • Open Wumail>Click on Contacts>Click on Tools>Import/Export • At Export>Browse for File on Desktop>File Type: .CSV>Click Import Now

  10. Groups • Click on Contacts • Click on New>Group • Type Group Name • Add people to Group from Address Book. • Names need to be in Address Book BEFORE you create a new group • Check of Names>Click Add members> Click OK

  11. Managing Groups • Double Click on Groups • A List of Groups will appear • View, Edit, or Delete Groups in this window

  12. Tasks • Click on Tasks • Creating new Tasks by Clicking New • Set Priorities> Click OK • Double Click on My Task to Edit or Delete Tasks

  13. Adding New Event to Calendar • Review Description tab. • Title • Start/End • All day • Private • Priority • Email Reminder • Attachments

Adding People to Meetings • Click Calendar • Create New Event • Click on Schedules Tab • Type name at User: orClick on User: to search for name in Widener Directory> Click ADD Everyone on Campus will have the appointment appear automatically on their Wumail calendar Right Click on Appointment and you can choose to accept or decline the meeting. The sender of the meeting invitation will be notified. If you decline the meeting the meeting will automatically be removed from your Wumail Calendar

  15. Cancelling a Meeting • When you cancel a meeting that you originally sent out – everyone on your attendee list will be notified via email that the meeting was cancelled and it will automatically be taken off their Wumail Calendar

  16. Non-Wumail Users • You can invite non-Wumail users to meetings using the scheduling function in Wumail • Non-Wumail accounts will receive an invitation to the meeting via e-mail It will be their responsibility to put it on their calendar

  17. New Event Repeat Options • After an Event has been created • Click on Repeat Options Tab • Choose Repeat settings • Use for: • Vacation/Breaks - Repeat Every Day • Staff Meeting - Repeat Weekly/Monthly • Repeat specific dates of the months etc… • Repeat Until a certain date or Repeat Forever (birthdays) • Don’t Forget to Click on ADD Event when Finished
