  4. Mobilecast • Designed to be downloaded to mobile phones. • Network speed is critical to download. • MP3 files are too large for phone. • Requires podcasts to be re-encoded. • Become more attractive as mobile data improves. • People using phones as media players.

Skype • SkypeCasting or web chatting • Cheap phone conversations over the Internet. • Enhanced podcasts slides timed with the audio. • Garage Band recording software for Skype. • Used for professional and long-distance podcasting conversations. • Each participant will only need the Skype software.
