  2. Surroundings of Our School • Our school is situated in Podbrezová. • Podbrezová is in central Slovakia. • Green vegetation can be found all around the school. It is very nice. • You can meet squirrels near school because the environment is clean and quiet.

  3. Information about Our School • The first school year of this school was 2006/2007. • In our school four languages are taught: English, German, French and Russian. • Students have to wear a school uniform. • You can also gain driving licence here.

  4. Our School Offers: • General secondary education. • Qualified pedagogical staff. • Thorough preparation for final maturita exam and for your university study. • Scholarship for students who deserve it. • Internet connection. • School dormitory. • AIMS of school: • - To improve teaching team and teaching methods. • - To educate the generation of successful people.

  5. School Premises and Educational Facilities • We have special classrooms for Biology, Chemistry, IT and Physics. We have also a gymnasium and a fitness centre. • Of course, we have a canteen and a school library too. • Next to school there is a universal playing area. • Educational facilities: computers, interactive whiteboards in every classroom, teaching programme Moodle, and so on. • Sport facilities: a golf trainer, stationary bicycles, pas conveyors.

  6. Study in Our School • Each specialization has its own curriculum and plans. • Specialized teachers get us ready for tests and exams. They teach us through presentations. • We are evaluated by a point system. It means – points set our final marks.

  7. Ordinary Day In Our School • The first lesson starts at 7:50. • We usually have 6 – 7 lessons a day. • Between lessons we have small or big breaks. • During the big break students can go for lunch. • For lessons we move to special classrooms (a biology classroom, gymnasium, IT classroom ...). • School normally finishes at 2:00 p.m. • After we have clubs or we can go home.

  8. Specializations • At first the school had specialization only in physical education. Next, the specialization in IT came into existence . In present we have specialization in English language at school too.

  9. Sport Specialization • Connects study with sport. Trainings develop academic abilities. Trainings are four times a week after school and three times a week during school. • Sports specializations: football, golf and biathlon. • Project of Inter Campus: Cooperation with Inter Milano – trainers; or Inter Milano gives experience to our coaches.

  10. Successful Former Students Michal Breznaník – player of national football team (Player in Czech Republic.) Juraj Kucka –player of national football team (Player in Italian club.)

  11. And more.. • Tereza Meďveďová – present student - Slovak national team cyclist (champion of Slovakia) • Matej Kazár – Slovak national biathlon team athlete (Contestant of Olympic games in 2006, 2014.)

  12. IT Specialization • Students are given laptops useful for their study. • These students have more IT lessons. It is a good preparation for their university studies.

  13. Specialization in English Language • Is the newest specialization at our school. • Students have English language lessons every day and a conversation lesson twice a week.

  14. The Future of Our Students • Graduates are ready to study at any university. • After finishing university they have the possibility to work in the company of ŽP.

  15. Life in Our School • Our school organizes lots of cultural and educational events, as well as sport activities. • Cultural and educational events are: educational and excursion tours, visits of theatre, different trips and competitions,.. • Sport activities: special exercises, competitions

  20. Summer Camp for IT Specialization • A chance to learn IT for free. • Camp is usually carried out in July - 6 lessons every day.
