  1. When your business grows, so does the money. With a significantly high amount of cash flow, counting money and keeping an accurate account can be difficult. A money counting machine will save you time as it counts much faster than you would. Counting is, however, not all this machine does. If you are worried about counterfeit bills, you don’t have to anymore. Money counting machines have the technology to detect counterfeit bills and are pretty efficient at it. When deciding which machine to buy, here are some things to look out for. Features Like any other gadget, there are lots of features you can get with a cash machine. It is easy to get carried away, desiring all the possible features and failing to focus on your needs. If you run a small business, a basic money counter is all you need. On the other hand, all these features are necessary if you need this for something like a bank.

  2. Now, a basic cash machine will only count bills and detect any counterfeit bills. There are multi-currency cash machines that will count more than just the U.S Dollar. These can include software that will sort these currencies more. If your cash is not already sorted into denominations, you will need a counter with the ability to sort into different denominations. Ease of use The main reason you get a money counting machine is to make work easier. Ease of use should be a given as anything short of this would beat the purpose. You should know that just as it is with price, the more features a cash machine has, the more complex it is. With this said, money counting machines are generally easy to use. As long as the user interface is simple and the LED display is clear, you are good to go. Hopper capacity You place the bills that are to be counted in the hopper. The size of the hopper determines how much money it can count at a time. A hopper capacity of 200 bills should be sufficient for basic counting needs. If your business doesn’t handle lots of money, you won’t need a higher-capacity hopper.

  3. Counterfeit detection Now, this is one of the most important factors to consider. While most basic models will include this feature, not all of them have it. With so many counterfeit bills in circulation, you will need counterfeit detection in your cash machine. Even though it is possible to detect counterfeit money by hand, it is tricky. It takes a lot of time, and you cannot be a hundred percent sure. Reject Pocket Reject pockets are pretty interesting. Money counters either have one or two pockets. Those cash machines with one pocket will stop counting when they detect an unrecognizable bill. You will need first to remove that bill before counting continues. The two pockets allow the machine to move the bill to the reject pocket without stopping, therefore, saving you time. Warranty Warranties assure you that if the machine is faulty, you can return it to the manufacturer. Most money counters will come with warranties, but the longer, the better.
