  2. FIRST EPISODE Tecmessa narrates Ajax’ madness. Ajax becomes sane again. Protagonist Ajax Deuteragonist Tecmessa Tritagonist

  3. SECOND EPISODE Ajax laments his misfortune; asks to see Eurysaces. Ajax speaks with his son, then enters tent. Protagonist Ajax Deuteragonist Tecmessa Tritagonist Other Eurysaces

  4. THIRD EPISODE Ajax returns, speaks cryptically about his death. Ajax exits; Tecmessa and Eurysaces enter the tent. Protagonist Ajax Deuteragonist Tecmessa Tritagonist Other Eurysaces

  5. FOURTH EPISODE Messenger informs Chorus about Teucer. Messenger confers with Tecmessa (holding Eurysaces) Tecmessa asks the Chorus to find Ajax. Protagonist Deuteragonist Tecmessa Tritagonist Messenger Other Eurysaces

  6. FIFTH EPISODE Ajax commits suicide. Protagonist Ajax Deuteragonist Tritagonist

  7. SIXTH EPISODE Tecmessa and the Chorus find Ajax’ corpse. Teucer arrives on the scene; summons Eurysaces. Menelaus argues with Teucer. Protagonist Ajax Deuteragonist Tecmessa Menelaus Tritagonist Teucer

  8. SIXTH EPISODE Tecmessa returns with Eurysaces. Teucer gives Eurysaces a lock of Ajax’ hair. Protagonist Ajax Deuteragonist Tecmessa Tritagonist Teucer Other Eurysaces
