I---U---A---V Activities of international affairsoffice The international affairsoffice monitors all IUAV international actions such as: studentsmobility, PhD students, incoming and outgoing researchers; incoming and outgoing faculty mobility; seminars, international workshops; courses, joint/double degrees; international research projects; publications; training, placement, post-graduate and training abroad; foreign students enrolled in Iuav courses; foreign students enrolled in single courses; European Social Fund; international fairs; scholarships; graduation thesis with foreign co-examiner; IUAV courses in English; agreements/projects between IUAV libraries and laboratories and foreign institutions.

The international affairs office promotes all the opportunities offered by international programs giving relevant information to teaching and administrative staff. Gives informations on: European Union’s programs; Fulbright scholarships; Italian Ministry of Higher Education’s calls; Italian Ministry Foreign Affairs’ calls; Conference of the Rectors of the Italian Universities’ (CRUI) programs.

I---U---A---V Activities of international affairs office Organization and support to enter into a memorandum of understanding between foreign institutions and IUAV, coordination with the offices interested in drafting and conclusion of implementing agreements related to the memorandum of understanding. The office attends to: approval both memoranda of understanding and their implementing agreements by the Senate and the Board of Governors; subscription of the memorandum and of the agreement by the Rector; sending of the documents to the contracting foreign institutions; monitoring of the activities in progress that are object of the specific agreements;
Activities of international affairs office • Management of the database and monitoring of memoranda of understanding and their implementing agreements • The office manages the database of memoranda and implementing agreements, periodically monitoring the progress of the activities as: • geographical areas; • type of activity object of the implementing agreement (e.g.: research, teaching, staff and students mobility, conferences, exhibitions, scientific publications etc.); • renewal of memoranda and agreements and confirmation of the scientific responsible.
