  2. Background • In recent years, WI-FI is being paid city-wide by the individual cities themselves: • Minneapolis • New York City • Britain – Super Highway: A14 • San Francisco • Los Angeles • Data Usage and Caps • More than 7 billion people world wide are without internet of any kind

  3. Problems • Lack of data storage • Cloud computing is not as helpful as it could be for mobile technology based on how limited it is • Need For Bandwidth • Mobile plans are limited and expensive

  4. Solutions • The ability to connect within cities ubiquitous internet will happen within the next few years. • Loon • Super Highway – connectivity when driving • Google Fiber – • 100x faster wifi

  5. Why?! • Help Poorer Cities • User Convince and Availability • Rely less on data plans • Bandwidth will faster – increase server side • Wearable Technology will be possible
