Ya’axché is working with 8 communities in and around MGL, with a combined population of about 7 000 people. The organization functions thanks to extremely diligent and dedicated staff, directors, partners, and supporters. Most members of our staff come from local communities that buffer the protected areas we manage, while international volunteers bring additional expertise and fill non-funded positions.
