  2. Engineering? • When you think of a engineer, do you think of a highly skilled professional at a drafting table with a hard hat and vest? • Most people don’t think of an engineer as someone who would be sitting in a recording studio, doing the glamorous work of cutting the next big hit song.

Audio Engineer In Music • While many jobs in the music industry might seem glamorous, a great deal of technical and business expertise is actually required. • After audio engineering college, a graduate will know everything about sound waves and acoustics as well as developing the talent to put music together from a variety of sources.

  4. What Do you learn In Audio Engineering colleges?

  5. the Equipment • The audio engineer is often called upon to set for recording sessions, including microphone placement, speaker set up, basic equipment troubleshooting when necessary. • This is more of a mechanical background than technical but audio engineer are expected to be talented at both.

  6. Acoustics • Whether you’re working in a small recording studio or a large concert hall, the training will prepare a engineer to understand acoustics well enough to make anyone sound good.

  7. Music Appreciation • Chances are choosing this career because one has a deep appreciation for the art form. Many audio engineer are also musicians • Most music-geared degree programs will begin with music history and include examination of various types of music in order to analyze how song comes together.

Hands-on training • You’ll be logging many hours on recording studios equipment during class time, but you’ll also have projects due that will require after-class work. • You also may be completing an internship for no pay as part of your course work. This will not only give you class credit, but you’ll have something to add to your resume upon graduation.

  9. Majoring in Audio Engineering is fun! • Be prepared for plenty of hands-on experience in a field many people love But it is also hard work!

  10. If you have the passion for music and a technical mind, You will do well in this field!
