  2. Pedestrians in San Antonio, Texas has a more exciting way to enjoy being one. Why bother catching a cab when there is a whole new adventure of exploring the city?

  3. The River Walk is the largest urban ecosystem in the nation. It is a city park and at the same time a pedestrian walkway along the banks of San Antonio River, one level down from the automobile street. It passes under bridges with two parallel sidewalks.

Along the sidewalks, you can find an array of restaurants and shops, one of those is the Shops at Rivercenter or formerly known as the Rivercenter Mall.

The river also connects you to different spots just like the Arneson River Theatre, Marriage Island, La Villita, HemisFair Park, the Tower Life Building, the San Antonio Museum of Art, the Pearl and the city’s five Spanish colonial missions, which have been named a World Heritage Site, including the Alamo.

  6. Also, one of the best times to visit this place is during the annual springtime Fiesta San Antonio because they feature the River Parade which presents a beautiful flower float parade. As enumerated by Gary Lheureux, there are a lot of things you could do in this unique experience. You could either do some foot works along the river’s walking path or hop aboard a river barge and enjoy the scenery. This place is worth your time and some video clips on your phone.
