Empowering Women Through ICTs: Assessing Services and Impact

This transnational workshop focuses on evaluating the impact of services on women's needs in the context of the Women and ICTs Project. It aims to promote equal opportunities, enhance ICT skills, and provide job placement opportunities for graduate women. Class 2006 - Course Content • Aim: • Equal Opportunities, New Technology, Professional Motivation • Approach • Theoretical Seminars on the ICT sector • Testimonials from women occupying senior positions in public and private sector (ICTs) • Laboratories: work group discussions on themes of the course • Duration • Course: 30 hours • Session: 3 hours maximum

Results of 2006 Evaluation - Some Conclusions • Programme can be improved by, for instance, adding: • An ICT module to stimulate the learming and use of programmes of specific relevance to management; • A module of preparation and support for the period of “stage,” aimed at providing operational instruments to face the stage with time management for complex organizational learning, including technical data and information , organizational routines and relational competences, etc.
