EECBG Grant Program Anticipate awarding $9.3 million to cities and counties All cities/counties not receiving direct DOE funding are eligible Suggested activities Community Energy Strategy Building Retrofits LED lighting Small-scale renewables “Green Collar Job” Workforce Development Grants Competitive funds for universities, community colleges and technology centers Public Education Residential and consumer education program Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant (EECBG)

Weatherization Administered by Human Services in Tennessee in partnership with HRA and CAA’s Supports residential retrofits for low-income households Energy Star Appliance Rebate New program managed by ECD in partnership with TVA Consumer rebates for purchase of efficient appliances Under development Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure Multi-state partnership with Nissan, TVA, ORNL and others Support deployment of vehicles and charging infrastructure Energy Assurance Planning Strengthen state’s energy assurance plans and processes Local training and exercises Other Energy Opportunities
