Enhancing K-12 Science Education through TDEC/TDOE Safety Partnership Workshops

The TDEC/TDOE Safety Partnership has developed a series of workshops aimed at enhancing science education in Tennessee schools. These workshops, conducted in the summer from 2003 to 2005, focused on inquiry, standards, and safety, spanning grades K-12. Participants received valuable resources, including CD-ROMs with the Tennessee Total Science Safety System (TTSSS) and state resources. The partnership also involved presentations from TDEC, emphasizing green initiatives and hazardous waste remediation.
