The TDEC/TDOE Safety Partnership has developed a series of workshops aimed at enhancing science education in Tennessee schools. These workshops, conducted in the summer from 2003 to 2005, focused on inquiry, standards, and safety, spanning grades K-12. Participants received valuable resources, including CD-ROMs with the Tennessee Total Science Safety System (TTSSS) and state resources. The partnership also involved presentations from TDEC, emphasizing green initiatives and hazardous waste remediation. By fostering collaboration and professional development, these workshops aim to enrich the teaching and learning experience for educators and students alike.
