  5. Inverse Problem • 2525 Does not have Categories for All groups of Symbols in Units, Equipment and Installations. • Creates Problem When Wanting to Send Unknown for a particular UEI

  6. Definitions ? • No Statement – The operator/system has chosen not to identify further detail related to this field. • Undefined – This is a legal value, but the standard does not specify what it may relate to, therefore systems may use this value if they have an agreement between them as to the connotation. • Illegal – This value is not allowed to be used. Are These Correct?

Use of Entity Type & Entity Subtype • In Numerous Locations in VMF it is Possible to Define a Symbol Three Ways • Entity Type with Subtype = No Statement • Entity Type with Subtype = Unknown • Wntity Type with no Subtype Provided • This Could Lead to Different Interpretation and Uncertainty as to What Was Meant by Sender Recommend Use of Entity Type with Subtype = Unknown
