Why study these temptations?
  • To learn from Jesus and become more like Him 2 Cor. 3:17-18
  • To become more aware of Satan’s devices 2 Cor. 2:11
  • To be better equipped to overcome our temptations 2 Tim. 3:16-17
  • To give others hope in their struggle against sin 2 Tim. 2:24-26, Heb. 2:18

Jesus proved He is the Son of God by OBEYING His Father!

  • Pride often uses the other temptations

  • Satan promises happiness but cannot deliver his way (deceiver)
  • God’s way provides true happiness and MORE
