Explore the dynamic world of rocks with this insightful guide on igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks. Igneous rocks form from cooled magma or lava, showcasing crystal variations based on cooling speed. Metamorphic rocks undergo fascinating transformations over millions of years under heat and pressure, while sedimentary rocks are created from the compaction of sediments. Discover how these rock types contribute to the Earth’s geological layers and cycle, offering a glimpse into the planet's history and processes.

Igneous rocks • Igneous rocks start with magma or lava. When the magma cools it forms with little crystals in it. The faster it cools the bigger the crystals get.
Metamorphic • Metamorphic rocks are really cool they can transform but it takes 3 million years though. It takes heat time and preasure
Sedimentary • Sedimentary rocks are cool they are pushed together. They are formed by sediments.
