  1. I/O Modules for the New Age Technologies In this age of Technology, everything is connected to the computer. The input-output modules of computer make the computer to interact with the human. Receiving data and converting it to information is the main function of a computer. So how does the input/output module help the computer?  It acts as a mediator between the processor of a computer and the I/O devices.  It controls the data exchange between the processor and the different devices connected to the computer.  It coordinates the data information between the various devices of the computer.  It helps the computer by providing the error detection facilities. With the advancement of technology, various input/output module came to the market to make the flow of information in a smooth manner. Ethernet Technologies which is commonly used in the WAN, LAN, MAN network was commercially launched in the year of 1980.
