  1. Comforter – All weather Sleep Companion

  2. What is Comforter? • A comforter is a blanket made of two layers of cloth sewed together and filled with soft fibers such as wool, silk, cotton, or polyester, microfibers. • Comforter is also called as Doona, Quilt or Duvet.

  3. Things To Consider When Buying Comforter Material and Construction • Whether your body tends to be hot or cold during sleep time, choose to go for breathable bedding materials to help support sound sleep. • Choose Hypoallergenic material that prevents germs, microbes, or allergen from entering your bed space

  4. Understand your body’s thermoregulation • An ideal sleep climate relies on maintaining a moderate relative humidity and temperature under the covers during varying weather conditions. • Especially since we all release different amounts of heat from our bodies during the night, bedding is a very personally specific choice • It is advisable that, choose those mattress, bed sheets and comforter which helps to regulate your temperature while sleeping.

  5. Size • Before you start choosing comforters, figure out what size bedding you need for your bed. • If you sleep in a queen-sized bed, you might choose a queen-size comforter, you could, however, treat yourself to a king-sized comforter instead • The ideal blanket should be around 8 inches longer than your height. For anyone under 5’9”, a good standard size is 66" x 86". Or opt for an oversized bedspread if you or your partner are taller.

  6. Cost, Colors & Patterns • Don’t think that expensive comforters are always good in quality so before buying check all features of comforters and then buy that comforter which matches your requirement. • Choose only that comforter which matches to your bedroom and bed sheet color or buy whole bedding set.
