  2. What things can prevent a fire? Nature, lightning ,gas, electricity ,fire, dead wood, wind, fuel, crop and coal.

  3. Why does Australia have such a large fire problem? Australia has a wild problem because we have a lot of nature and bush land so that makes fire more common.

  4. What is a Back-burn? A back burn is where specially trained fire fighters go to places where there is a lot of bush and burn the trees and bush then put out the fire.

  5. When can a back fire work? It can be used when there are a lot of dead bush that can prevent fire, so they burn it so its not a problem.

  6. When can a fire be disastrous? A fire can be disastrous when they are really big and when people are in risk of getting hurt.

  7. Ash Wednesday bush fire devastate part of Victoria and south Australia, killing almost 76 people and 1100 people were hurt .Some fire fighters were also killed and it was the worse fire since 1788.People say that it was cursed by a high gust of wind, electric cable crushing on a tree or high drought.Over 2000 homes and shops were destroyed (over a million hectares were destroyed).
