  5. Characteristics of a Kingdom The key to Kingdom is TERRITORITY. Kingdom’s Territory is call DOMAIN. KING-DOM-AIM – “KINGDOM” The Glory of Kingdoms is TERRITORIAL INFLUENCE. All Kingdoms EXPAND. The First Kingdom in existence is THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. The message of the bible is about a king, a kingdom and his royal offspring.

We are Heirs of His Kingdom

What is the Kingdom of God For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost – Romans 14:17 Righteouseness - Matthew 5:20 – (Scribes and Pharisees were self-righteous. Our righteousness must be about God’s righteousness Peace – John 14:27, John 16:33, Romans 5:1, & Romans 8:6 ~ Inner Peace because Trust is in God through Christ Joy – John 15:11, Romans 15:13, Galatians 5:22-23 & Jude 1:24 ~ Pleasant emotions, delight Righteousness – Matthew 6:33 ~Seek God’s way to doing and being in Right Standing

God’s Priority and Principle of the Kingdom Matthew 6:25-33 “Seek First His Kingdom” Righteousness – Matthew 6:33 ~Seek God’s way to doing and being in Right Standing Make the Kingdom of God – Priority. Seek – Pursue and Study Righteousness – Legal Term, be in Right Position. Align self with the Government. The Kingdom of God is more important than food, water, clothing, shelter, and every other basic human need.

Principles of Lordship King personally owns everything in his domain (Everything belongs to the King) Use of anything in the Kingdom is a privilege King can give or distribute anything to anyone in his kingdom because He owns it Submissin to the King’s lordship means that we have no right to ourselves. Jesus Christ is Lord.

By Prayer we invite God into our domain. We have dominion authority. “Bind” lock up or prohibit, “Loose” Unlock or permit - Matthew 18:18 Land. Domain, Territory – Isaiah 45:18

Scriptures say, “I, the Lord, say …” Originates in the heart, mind and will of the king. Citizens have no input. God set out the conditions. Psalm 10:16, Psalm 33:11, Psalm 119:89 The constitution contains the benefits and privileges of the Citizens. Matt 6:31-33, Matthew 7:7-8, John 3:16, John 5:24, Matthew 18:19-20, Luke 12:32 The Constitution is the reference for life in the kingdom. Exodus 20:3-17, Matthew 5:3-10

Principles of Law Law is produced to protect the Constitution and to secure the rights of the citizens No human society can survive long without laws Laws are necessary Every Kingdom is governed by laws Laws enforce and protect the standards by which the Kingdom operates Laws define boundaries. Laws free us to pursue options in a safe environment Psalm 19:7-11

Seven Principles of KingdomLaw All creation was designed to function by inherent principles The principles are called “natural law” Natural law has to do with laws concerning the nature of a thing. Natural law is the standard for effective function of everything that God has created. Violation of law leads to dysfunction. Laws are the key to the successful existence and a guarantee of fulfillment of purpose. Laws Protect Purpose. We are to obey all the laws. Deut 6:5 Leviticus 19:18b The purpose for law is to protect the constitutional convenant. Laws exist to make sure that the provisions of the constitution are carried out consistently, equitably, and without prejudice for all citizens. Hebrews 6:13-15, 17 Laws are the conditions of covenant.

Torah = Hebrew, means direction and instruction Nomos = means to divide out, distribute, came be mean prescribed by custom or by statute. Another meaning of nomos is ‘decreed law established by a state’ The Bible is legal book of laws that God has established and set forth in written form to define and protect His Kingdom. Ethos – Law, custom Jeremiah 31:33
