Nunca , Tampoco , Nadie , Nada. Negation. Nunca / Tampoco Nunca = never Tampoco = neither These words can take the place of “no”, or they can be added to the end of a sentence that already has “no” in it. No voy a la playa. vs. Nunca voy a la playa.

  1. Nunca, Tampoco, Nadie, Nada Negation

  2. Nunca / Tampoco Nunca = never Tampoco = neither These words can take the place of “no”, or they can be added to the end of a sentence that already has “no” in it.

  3. Novoy a la playa. vs. Nuncavoy a la playa. No voy a la playa nunca. No hago la tarea, nunca. ¡No quierohacer la tarea, tampoco! ¡No vamos a estudiar, tampoco! ¡Tú no tienes la tarea, tampoco!

  4. Nada Nada = nothing *When used as the subject of the sentence Nada es fácil. Nada es interesante. Nada cuesta mucho en Wal-Mart.

  5. Nada Nada = anything/nothing *When used AFTER a verb. *Must also make use the word “no” with the sentence and make a “double negative” No quiero comer nada. No tengo nada. No entiendo nada en la clase de español.

  6. Nadie Nadie= nobody / not anybody *When used AFTER a verb, “no” must be placed before the verb. No hay nadie en la clase hoy. No quiero hablar con nadie. Nadie quiere hacer la tarea.
