  5. Academic Vs. Administrative • Academic Software • Grades • Homework • School National Test Scores • Administrative Software • Personal Information can be accessed • Records • Personal Test Scores

  6. How do students use technology in your classroom? • Interaction with Smartboard • Google and Wikispace • With careful monitoring • Computer Use • Research • Blogs • Only used occasionally • Monitoring is Key

  7. Respecting the Product • Three strikes and your out. • Student gets a warning first • Can’t use it the rest of the day • Third misbehavior • Lose of privilege

  8. Implementing technology • Some students don’t have access. • Its always getting out dated. • New Technology every year. • We are technology based. • All dependent on school funding.

  9. Parents • Parents need to become aware • What technology students will have access to. • Student consequences for misuse. • Parent signed waver
