What is CEP? A four-step workshop process dedicated to club improvement. .
What is CEP? A participating CEP club will: • examine their community’s needs • analyze their membership experience • locate resources • develop action plans *CEP is a flexible workshop process dedicated toward club improvement. *Participants develop and implement action plans.
Excellent Characteristics • Service-minded • Good communication • Strong membership program • Retention of members • Effective leadership and club operations

How to schedule a CEP Workshop • Contact either your GMT or GLT district coordinator to express interest in a workshop --they will find a facilitator for you and help you complete the application, • Have signed application submitted to LCI
Why CEP? Lions want to be excellent • Lions want to: • serve • use their time wisely at meetings and service projects • be heard • be involved • be informed

Who can participate in CEP? • Clubs under 20 members • Clubs that do not submit a WMMR • Clubs that want to increase retention/involvement • Clubs of any size that wish to become stronger Everyone!

Before the workshop begins • Submit the application • Be excited about what you’ll learn. • Be open to hearing from members and community about Lions. • Expect to be guided by a facilitator and to be talking with club members and community about the club experience
