Travel Study • This Travel Study Course aims to expose the students to the events and changes occurring in South Asia – particularly Bangalore and its surrounding areas in India. • The effect of technology that is transforming the world and bringing about globalizations is an integral part of the current economic, social, and political landscape. • Students will have an opportunity to directly experience the geographical, cultural, political, social, economic, educational, and historical issues in this rapidly growing important part of the world. • We will visit small-scale software companies as well as large multinational companies that are the center of outsourcing. • We will also visit a high-school, a polytechnic school, and multiple institutions of higher education. • We will visit non-governmental charitable institutions. • We will also visit places of cultural and historical significance.
