  1. Station 31 & Station 35Procedures for fill station with booster pump

  2. Wear hearing protection • Booster pump is very loud, hearing protection is required!

  3. Make sure valve on booster pump is turned on. Valve is blue at sta. 35 and yellow at sta. 31You can leave this valve in the on position at all times. There is no need to turn it off.

  4. We are no longer using the “cascading” principle. Because of the new booster pump you now leave all the banks in the open position. They will self equalize and be automatically refilled by the compressor.

  5. Open door and insert bottle

  6. Connect bottle, close bleeder valve, and open bottle

  7. Close door and lock it

  8. Set regulator pressure to 4500

  9. Open fill valve. Bottle will fill to the set regulated pressure. Allow cylinder to fill slowly to avoid overheating.

  10. Shut down procedures • Close fill valve • Bleed off regulator to 0 psi • Unlock door and open • Turn bottle off, open bleeder valve, and disconnect bottle • Take bottle out and close door • Relieve regulator pressure to 0 • All done
