  2. Intro The prime reason behind most dental problems is poor oral hygiene, improper brushing, & irregular flossing. The sticking food will develop a layer of bacteria known as plague. Want to know what more about common dental problems, and then stick to this write up.

  3. 1. Gingivitis Gingivitis or gum disease, also called periodontal disease, is a soft tissue infection & also the leading cause of tooth loss in adults. The earlier symptoms of Gingivitis are the frequently red, sore & bleeding gums. If diagnosed prior, then the infection can be cured in between 10 to 14 days.

  4. 2. Hypersensitivity  Tooth sensitivity or dentin hypersensitivity is the discomfort in your teeth due to stimuli like hot, cold food. One primary symptom of tooth sensitivity to colder temperatures is the grinding of teeth at nighttime. Tooth sensitivity is proof of the underlying dental problem.

  5. 3. Halitosis Halitosis is the persistent unpleasant odor in the exhaled breath, known as bad breath in generic terms. The dentist says that the most common cause of Halitosis is poor oral hygiene, and mint, neem & all other toothbrush & mouth wash aren't the permanent solutions. So, to prevent or recover from bad breath, you must brush regularly & cleanly, flossing once a day is compulsory, hydration, keep control of your diet, replace your toothbrush timely, and regularly visit your dentist in Miami for an overall check-up.

  6. 4. Tooth infection Tooth infection or tooth abscess is the collection of pus & bacteria inside the tooth root or the gum. If left untreated, the infection can reach other areas of the body. The initial symptoms of tooth abscess are severe & consistent pain in the jawbone, neck, or ear, difficulty in chewing, fever, swelling, or sensitivity to hot or cold food. Cracks & cavities are the common cause of tooth infection.

  7. 5. Enamel destruction The saliva in your mouth continuously neutralizes the acid in the food. Still, if you eat or drink too much acidic or sugary food, then the upper layer of your enamel will slowly start to degrade over time. Week enamel can be repaired, but if eradicated, it can't be restored.

  8. 6. Yellowing teeth  Teeth turn yellow as you age; if not yellow, then the teeth' color changes into some shade of grey, and the reason for the darkening of teeth is the thinning of the enamel.  Apart from age, excess consumption of coffee, soda, tea, alcoholic beverages, or genetic conditions can all discolor your teeth.  But the good news is that your darken teeth can be reversed by following the teeth whitening treatment in Miami.

  9. 7. Oral Cancer Worldwide, oral cancer is prevailing in men & is the most severe dental problem & unfortunately most common you can have because it takes your life. The reason behind oral cancer is excess consumption of alcohol & tobacco.

  10. 8. Malocclusion The prime reason behind Malocclusion or the misaligned teeth is not found yet. It can lead to distorting face features, problems in chewing or speech sometimes.  But not to worry, Miami dentists have orthodontic treatments present to cure misaligned teeth.
