What are polygons? • What qualifies something as a polygon? • What are the names of some common polygons? • What is the relationship between the number of sides a polygon has and its name? • What are vertices? • Where do we see polygons in the world? • How are polygons important? • Why are polygons important

  3. What are we going to do? • We will be learning about polygons. • Each student will research a polygon and use that information to create a 5- 7 slide power point presentation. • You will connect polygons to their everyday life.

  4. What else will you do? • You will use Microsoft Publisher and create a wanted poster. • You will also visit the Macmillan-McGraw Hill website and complete an e-journal. • WOW what fun!

  5. Challenge • Are you up for the challenge of becoming a polygon expert? • By the time we are finished with this project you will be a polygon expert!
