  1. The Resurrection Life Fellowship Welcomes You!

  2. Gleanings from the Life of A Man of God Part II

  3. A Man of God & His Family Yun Isaac, Yilin, Deling, & Yun Deling We don’t suffer alone!

  4. Your Presence Oh Lord Psalm 16:11 (KJV) Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

  5. The Narrow Road “I was sent to the Xinyang Prison Labor Camp…The weather there is bleak, with little sunshine throughout the year. Many days are marked with heavy fog and drizzle. The depressingly damp conditions are a haven for swarms of mosquitoes and numerous poisonous snakes…Every morning we had to endure political brainwashing and military-type physical training. Our days lasted from sunrise to after sunset – 14 hours of work, seven days per week…Deep down I felt indignation for all the injustices I’d suffered. Suddenly the Lord told me, “Don’t feel sorry for yourself. This is my will for you. You should walk in it’. Thank God He knew my weaknesses and limitations.”

  6. God’s faithfulness despite our pain. 1 Peter 4:15-16 (NIV) If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. [16] However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. 1 Peter 4:19 (NIV) So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

  7. Redemptive Disobedience Yun “I’ve seen the inside of many prisons in China, but none came close to matching the terrible living conditions in this place. Rangoon is one to the hottest and most humid cities in the world. Every day the temperature was in the mid-to-high 90’s…I was not permitted to have my Bible in this prison. This may sound like a contradiction, but although I’d been arrested because I disobeyed the Lords’ command, I also sensed it was His plan for me to be a witness for Jesus Christ to the desperate criminals there. It was for this reason God sent me into that hopeless place.”

  8. “Never be satisfied with God’s calling or his gifts in your life. Be satisfied with Jesus Christ himself!” Yun

  9. Trials Reveal Who We ARE Yun “I rejected my wife’s advice and ignored the dream from the Lord…In my sorry state; I had great confidence in my own “strength” and “abilities”. The Lord needed to teach me a lesson and humble me. He taught me that if we trust in any kind of resource except him, we will fail.”

  10. Trusting God Proverbs 3:5-10 (NIV) Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; [6] in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

  11. Fear the Lord [7] Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. [8] This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

  12. Honor Him with Life & Substance [9] Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; [10] then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

  13. Hopeful Endurance Deling, Yun’s wife; “Many Chinese preachers have been forsaken by their wives while they were in prison for the gospel. One brother, Li, was sentenced to many years in prison. The moment the sentence was read out in the courtroom his wife stood up and shouted. “I divorce this man!” I didn’t want to do such a thing.”

  14. Galatians 6:2 (NIV)—none of us suffer in a vacuum. Carryeach other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:4-5 (NIV) Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, [5] for each one should carry his own

  15. Is God Faithful? Deling “The devil tried to tempt me through my relatives. The wife of my elder brother came to my house and advised me to divorce Yun and find another man while I was still young. Other also placed pressure on me to divorce him, especially when it was believed he would be put to death anyway. I refused to listen to them.”

  16. Prayer Opens Doors Yun “At this time my wife received a dream, the very same night my mother received the promise that I wouldn’t die. In my wife’s dream, she saw herself and my mother visiting me in prison. I was so skinny yet strong in the Lord’s grace. I was full of joy and peace. In the dream I gave her a key. I firmly told her, “this key can open every door!” When Deling woke up she immediately realized that the Lord Jesus wanted her to use prayer to open every door of difficulty.”

  17. The Angel of His Presence Isaiah 63:9 (NIV) In all their distress he too was distressed, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them he lifted them up and carried them all the days...
