Prepare for the school year's end by transferring files to eBackpack or thumb drive. Save desktop files and remove stickers from laptops before summer check-in. Follow instructions for smooth transition.

  1. Finishing the Year Laptops

  2. Laptops • In an effort to prepare for the end of the school year (YAY!), be sure you have moved all of your document from the s-drives onto e-backpack or onto a thumb drive. • When you return in the Fall, s-drives will have been wiped and will no longer exist.

  3. Laptops • Be sure to save any and all files that are currently on your desktop to a thumb drive or e-backpack

  4. Saving to eBackpack • Go to https://lwsd.ebackpack.com/login • Log in using your school Username and Password (just like you do to get on the computer) • Here is what you will see: • Click on [My files] from location or • You may not have created any files yet, so you will only have location 1!

  5. Saving to eBackpack • On the next screen, click [Add Files] to save a document • Click [Select File]

  6. Saving to eBackpack • On the pop-up window, find the file that you have saved • It will be either in your: • Desktop • C: Drive • S: Drive • Select the file • Click [Open]

  7. Saving to eBackpack • In the pop-up window, click [Add Files]

Saving to eBackpack • Next, you will see your new uploaded file at the bottom of the list on your “My files” screen • If you want to work with it, click [Download] • You will get a pop- • up task bar at the • bottom of your • screen, select [Open] • and to work on it • Be sure to • [Enable Editing]

  9. Laptops • Also, before laptops can be checked in for the summer, you must remove any and all stickers you have placed on the laptop.
