RNY Program Description • RNY is Governor Cuomo’s new statewide economic development electric power program • 910 Megawatts (MW) • 50% NYPA hydropower • 50% market power procured by NYPA • At least 350 MW for applicants in upstate utilities territories • At least 200 MW for attraction and expansion purposes • Up to 100 MW for small businesses and not-for-profit corporations • Competitive application process • Long-term contracts of up to seven years 4

  4. Applicant Eligibility Requirements • Eligible applicants include: • Businesses • Small Businesses • Not-for-Profit Corporations • Ineligible applicants include: • Retail businesses • Sports venues • Gaming or entertainment related establishments • Places of overnight accommodations 5

  5. Project Cash Disbursement Methods • No cash disbursements under the RNY program • Benefit is in the form of a low-cost power allocation 6
