  2. Creating of MSG • Memorandum stakeholders signed the agreement on creating of MSG in the end of last year; • Every side defined 3 main and 1 reserve representatives; • Agenda of the first meeting of MSG was prepared.

  3. Meetings of MSG • 3 meetings of MSG were held in the 2010 year; • In first meeting MSG approved 2010 working plan and discussed of 11th Azerbaijan EITI report, audit report and opinion of NGO coalition. Also MSG approved audit company for next report period. • In other meeting MSG disclosed 12 and 13th report, also audit reports and coalition's opinion.

  4. EITI reports • Main change in reporting was including payments of gold company to last 2 reports (Year 2009, first half of year 2010); • 13th report was late, because companies have not presented their reports in time;

  6. 2010 strategy of coalition • Work with MSG; • How to improve quality of review of coalition on EITI report; • Advocacy on improving disaggregated reporting; • Influence transparency and accountability of SOCAR; • Monitoring of activities of gold company ;

  7. Challenges • Government commission try to keep present form of EITI reporting; • GC and SOCAR are not interested in disaggregated reporting; • There is not any legislative base on EITI prosses;

  8. Objectives for future • To achieve accepting any resolution about disaggregated reporting in global EITI conference 2011; • To achieve accepting any document about legislative base of EITI reporting in international EITI level; • To work with US NGO’s for influence to US company for promotion of disaggregated reporting ; • To make strategy, how to broaden reporting on EITI?
