  6. WWF OBJECTIVES • Generate political commitment. • Keep water on the top of the political agenda. • Raise awareness of decision-makers and the public. • Identify challenges to water security. • Propose concrete solutions. • Opportunity for exchange of views.

  7. 2002 WORLD SUMMIT By the Year 2015, cut in half the proportion of people who lack access to safe drinking water and sanitation. (1.1 Billion people for safe drinking water) (2.4 Billion people for basic sanitation)
