Indigenous Parent Factor Program
The Indigenous Parent Factor Program (IPF) aims to empower Indigenous parents and caregivers in supporting their children’s English literacy development. The program offers training to promote active participation in education, foster strong partnerships between families and schools, and underline the importance of home learning and culture. Acknowledging the contributions of Aboriginal languages and home talk as foundational for literacy, IPF operates across various regions in Australia, enhancing educational outcomes for Indigenous children and promoting lifelong learning.
