Healthcare consultancies’ long and fruitful acquain- tance with the industry can help them in developing and implementing the appropriate strategies to accomplish the set goals by the hospital management. Also, there is a pressing need to confgure various aspects of a healthcare practice such as originating legitimate business plan and execution, engaging operations, empowering quali- ty management, efcient staf and, infrastructure design, facility planning and the strategy list goes on. The Healthcare consultancies empower healthcare businesses by getting the measurable results in every aspect with the help of their dedicated and proprietary resources. These reliable resources of healthcare consultancies are being considered as the game changers in the industry. On the other hand, the newly implemented GST demands an all new revised strategic approach to manage the increased operating costs in the light of 18 per cent tax on healthcare inputs that became efective from July 1st of 2017. Imple- menting the revised strategies to cope with new tax system takes time and analysts of healthcare are expecting a whole bunch of new challenges in the healthcare industry. “ As the intensity of changes continues to steed on the scale in speed, it is essential to search for the new ways to cope with the advancements of this healthcare transformation and to vsustain as a leading healthcare system. In today’s era of globalization, global environmental change and the subsequent increasing concern for our present and future health, the call for good global health governance is growing stronger -WHO To clear the clouds of difcult times, the healthcare organiza- tions are depending on Healthcare Consultancies that are committed to helping the organizations to strategically adapt the changes and evolve distinctly. 5. These consultancies will construct a win-win relationship with their healthcare clientele by possessing the proven ability to analyse, observe and solve the operational and organizational challenges and explore new opportunities. Every consultancy will meticulously research and take every minor factor into consideration before implement- ing any business strategy or decision into a hospital system. It helps the management to run the hospital in a seamless manner and deliver exceptional patient care and experience. The expertise and technical perfection in hospital consultancy services clearing the boundaries across the globe and serving in all horizons of the industry. Specifcally in accordance with this objective, all healthcare centers must take the responsibility to initiate quality and outcome oriented treatment deliv- ery. For this, the use of the currently applicable medical technology and healthcare information and communi- cation technology are imperative. The merit and the overall efcacy of all medical treatments depends on the various inter-lined things such as the theoretical expertise, installation of novel therapeutic tools and machineries, qualifed medical professionals including doctors, nurses, and paramedical staf, and experi- enced healthcare management personnel. ‘Healthcare practices have undergone substantial changes, precisely in line with the striking tech- nological leap, shift in disease burden, aging population, etc., that have come to pass in the contemporary period. We healthcare facilitators, administrators and hospital owners have to gear up accordingly, so that we can get prepared for meeting all types of probable challenges in health- care delivery. Frontenders will assist you to set up accurate and practical organizational as well as operational goals, from a long-term viability perspective.’ – Srinivasan G, CEO, FrontEnders Healthcare Consultancy. The Future of Medical Technology: Increased health risks no matter how strong one particu- lar nation’s healthcare system is, can afect the overall economy of the country. Keeping it in mind, the govern- ment can instead focus on developing medical technolo- gy centres and back-up such medical innovators at great level for greater benefts of the country. What Future Hold for Us in Healthcare The following three scenarios can explain the major healthcare changes in the times to come. These scenarios are developed based on the current medical trends – worldwide. The Progress of Infectious Diseases in Future: The increased resistance of the virus and bacteria have a signifcant efect on human health. The demand for new inventions and fast-paced progress in the existing medical researches is increasing day-by-day. The changed lifestyle of humans and the breakdown in the healthcare systems adding fuel to the increased risks. The Sustainability of Human Health: It’s unfortunate that we are unable to recognize at the alarming, slow but steady health risks that are pushing us in vulnerable situations. Investments in social services will lead to a sharp reduction in lifestyle-related diseases, most environmentally related infectious diseases will be eradicated, and disparities in health between rich and poor countries eventually will disappear. Although these scenarios are imaginary the unfortunate fact is, there is greater scope for them to become a reality. In addition, the pressure from the environment after giving so many indications like global-warming and natu- ral disasters, is reaching the saturation point.

  6. Another Brick in the Wall of Success Read our yet another success story where we significantly contributed as Principal Advisor in Establishing Kenya's Prestigeous Hospital Project - Jumuia, which was inaugurated by Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta, Hon'be President of Kenya. Hospital management has evolved witnessing a spectrum of changes while turning challenges into opportunities. The traditional decision makers in hospital management, who used to be the doctors have passed on the reins to the man- agement professionals as there was a paradigm shift in the priorities of managing a hospital today even though the objective of attaining the top position in the highly compet- itive market has never changed. Here is an Example: We the FrontEnders, an India based healthcare consultan- cy, can bring value to your healthcare practice by our impeccable strategies and operational procedures that are specially made for your healthcare practice. Our profes- sionalism with integrity accompanied by immense experi- ence in in management can achieve better results as well as ofer cost-efective treatment to patients, thus providing a win-win outcome for investors, medicine practitioners and patients. Our recent consulted and designed 1 million square feet of healthcare infrastructure in total in East African continent. FrontEnders Team Mr. Srinivasan G (CEO), Ms. Krishna Kavya (COO) and Abdul Rahman (clockwise 5th and 6th in the standees) with Hon'be President of Kenya, Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta. How we can help you in setting up a successful health- care practice? There will be no better time than this to change the opera- tional and strategic gears in order to cope with the new trends in the industry. The challenges like government regulations, employing the new technologies, identifying new opportunities, quality measures and care manage- ment, makes it a strenuous task to run a successful health- care practice. To overcome these challenges, it is imperative for the management to have the right perspective in all matters concerning to the hospital. Customized performance management system will help the stakeholders in achiev- ing the better results. The President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta Opening the Hospital Description of Project The National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK) with a vision of ofering Quality, Afordable and Accessible care to every Kenyan citizen - had planned to establish hospitals across the country. This network of hospitals will be execut- ed in 3 phases and will include mobile clinics, polyclinics, secondary care and tertiary care hospitals. The total project cost is estimated around USD 300 million The frst phase includes 5 poly clinics, 10 mobile clinics, 6 secondary hospitals and 1 tertiary care hospital. As a part of this Journey we have executed our frst polyclinics at Kakamega followed by two multi speciality hospitals in Kaimosi (100 beds) and Huruma (160 beds). The leadership team of NCCK had been to India on various occasions and was impressed by the Indian healthcare delivery model and wants to implement the same in Kenya for the beneft of the whole country. In doing so, NCCK appointed Fron- tEnders Healthcare Services Pvt. Ltd., Chennai as their Principal Advisor for all their projects. “ Mr. Srinivasan G explaining the process and procedures I would like to extend my sincere thanks to FrontEnders for being there in every step and helping us to bring this project into existence. - Rev. Canon Karanja, General Secretary, NCCK ”

  7. Medical Tourism Division Incredible Medical Tourism in Incredible India India – How its fast growing healthcare market is influencing the medical tourism all over the world. And, what’s driving this force? any people around the world think of busy roads, spicy foods, traditional festivals and diferent cultures when they hear the word - India. This M It is a known fact that many of the patients from other countries are unable to get the right treatment lack of better direction and guidance in choosing the appro- priate hospital, which is unfortunate. The pathway for successful treatment is choosing the right hospital. Lack of knowledge about such hospitals and inade- quate information makes the whole medical tour insig- nifcant. To fll this gap between the patients and the hospitals, medical tourism companies act as a liaison and connect the patient with the suitable healthcare facili- ties that provide high-quality treatment at an aford- able cost. These medical tourism companies assign efcient health coordinators who take care of all the needs of the tourist such as travelling, accommodation, hospital appointments and assistance in booking fight tickets, documentation and processing. The impeccable expe- rience of these companies in the feld and vast data- base of healthcare providers, across all major cities in the country, can guide the patient to the right doctor at the right hospital. Apart from assistance in getting the right treatment, they also assist the tourist in discovering the culturally rich Indian cities, if one has a heart of exploring – not Just Medical Touring. notion is slowly changing andthe day in which the world thinks of India when they hear the word ‘Medical Tourism’ is not far. India has developed or rather advanced in Health- care sector, registering vigorous growth, especially in the past decade. Standardised government medical policies and an increase in private sector participation, have improved medical industry in India pushing its boundaries while attracting the patients globally in the name of ‘Medi- cal Tourism’. One of the main reasons for this rapid growth of medical tourism in India is its afordability. The treatment cost in India for many major surgeries and major transplants is way lesser than the other countries. India is known for its expertise in treating major health issues with the help of efcient doctor amid advanced medical facilities. In addition, the afordable accommodation, less if not no waiting period in doctor consultations which is not the same case in the other countries, and easy access to the country for medical tourists, are being the predominant factors the growth of medical tourism in India. Almost all the cities in India possess many multi-super specialty hospitals that are equipped with advanced infra- structure, and capable doctors and paramedics. Also, the high success rates in typical medical procedures adding value to quality healthcare delivery making India one of the major medical tourism destinations in the world. Ranked 5th in the World with India Ranked Top in Asia Region with 72.10 MTI (Medical Tourism Index) in 2016.

  8. ” India is the 7th biggest country in the world located in the South Asian region with diverse terrain that extends from the Himalayan peaks to the Indian Ocean coastline. It is the second most populated destination in the world with more than 1.25 billion people living in it while occupying the seventh largest destination by area. Although there are public healthcare facilities owned, control and run by the government, its unreliability makes the private medical sector the main source of healthcare for as many as 7 out of 10 households. This makes the private sector bigger than the public one and thirsty for incremental business including medical tourism, which can take advantage of its not so strong currency and already achieved economies of scale. “ The economy of India is ranked 9th in the world, with a nominal GDP of a little over $2 Trillion US Dollars, and its three main industries are the service, industrial and agricul- tural sectors, in that exact order. When it comes to tourism, this developing nation only welcomed 7.7 million interna- tional visitors, which can be attributed to the visa require- ments for almost all nationalities travelling for tourism. 'The healthcare system in India is mainly operated by private sector. Surprisingly, this very factor has become the key behind India becoming the world's destination in Medical Tourism.' ” Healthcare in India is mainly dominated by the private sector and most of the healthcare expenses are paid out-of-pocket, as insurance is not yet popular in this desti- nation. ‘Medical Tourism making India even more Incredible. We always strive to bring a positive diference in the lives of our clients, with a humanistic touch and care. We take endeavouring eforts to understand our patients’ requirements precisely and connect them with the experi- enced and specialized doctors who are capable of addressing all kinds of health issues with the help of world-class medical procedures. Our intention is clear and transparent. We aim to simplify your medical tour in India at every step, with optimum quality.’ - Joshua T, VP, HealthOpinion, India.

In addition, seniors fnd it conve- nient to get treated at their homes as it makes them feel comfortable and feel dignifed. The world of seniors is tough. Life starts testing their capability of coping with their day-to-day activities. The same things that used to be so easy to perform even subconsciously, becomes tough and requires great atten- tion and strength. This hinders senior citizens’ confdence and makes them think their life is no-longer-active. This is when senior citizens require a helping hand and an empathetic heart – A Nursing Assistant. Why ‘Nursing Care’ at Home? Medicine alone can’t heal any disease. A touch of humani- ty along with appropriate medicine powers the healing. The helping hand with a sound medical experience espe- cially in treating the elderly for all their medical needs, makes the healing process faster. The Nursing Care at Home improve the senior lives while addressing all their health needs with great care and compassion. Why ‘Physiotherapy’ Needed for Seniors? Old age comes along with its acquaintances. Enduring aches and chronic pains are among them. They make the senior life challenging and tough to get along. Many seniors prefer to ignore the pains as they may ‘then’ not troubling them that much. However, ignoring any reoc- curring pain, doesn’t matter how mild it is, makes it even intense. All it takes is time! Doesn’t matter whether it’s a joint pain or lower-back pain or a persistent pain or a periodic pain, it must be treated with proper physiothera- py care. Assistance for Seniors at Home? Living should be seamless irrespective of the age. But the reality is, as one grows old, things around them change drastically.

  12. FrontEnders Foundation Creating Awareness on Parkinson’s Disease and Stroke D James Parkinson was a general practitioner in London, during his medical work he identifed six patients with a new disease. Three of them were his own patients and other three he found them on the street. In 1817 James Parkinson published a medical essay on, “Shaking Palsy” and later, the disease was named as Parkinson’s disease. espite the revolutionary medical technologies and other inventions in healthcare, our knowledge on human body is never sufcient enough to address health issues it faces. There are many health issues that we are unable to treat despite having innovative and advanced medical technologies. The increased resistance of disease causations over the medicine making the curing process more difcult and human race more vulnerable. Many diseases are coming into existence every day and the causes of some of the diseases are unknown, leave the treatment. The only way we can face these diseases is, increasing the awareness on the incurable. The Parkinson’s disease and stroke are among them. A recent study shows that nearly 7 million of Indians were estimated to be aficted with Parkinson’s disease and around 5 million stroke cases by 2020. As the population grows, people with Parkinson’s are expected to grow gradually. This disease usually arises at the age of 50. Parkinson’s Disease: The causation of the Parkinson’s disease is unknown and yet to be identifed, although researchers believe that the cause could be a combination of environmental and genet- ic factors. Some of the available treatments help to reduce or manage the symptoms at a certain level since there is no treatment that has been found to completely cure the disease. The condition of the Parkinson’s disease is identi- fed since ancient times. In the ancient medical system of “Ayurveda”, the Parkinson’s disease was referred under the name of KAMPAVATA [in Sanskrit KAMPA means tremor]. Patients experience range of symptoms but not all patients experience every (same) symptom and the pace at which an individual experiences symptoms vary on an individual basis. Parkinson’s disease may often start with a tremor in the single hand, slow down move- ment, stifness and loss of balance in the human body. Stroke: Stroke which is also called as “Brain Attack” is one of the serious life threatening conditions. Stroke is becoming an important cause of premature death and disability in India. Majority of stroke survivors continue to live with disabilities in our country and the costs of rehabilitation impoverish their families. There are very few stroke centres in India and very less stroke rehabilitation centres. Stroke commonly is a “Sudden Onset”. It could strike you like a lightning or can progress over a span of 72 hours to cause paralysis of your functions. In few cases it can give you an early warning of causing transient loss of function of your body which recovers completely within a few hours known as “Transient Ischemic Attack [TIA]”which is almost similar to Angina of Heart Attack.
