  1. American Government Welcome all new politicians! Today is your first day as a politician. You will be given two tasks to complete and one of which you will complete with a co-worker. As you complete your tasks, you may encounter some critical thinking questions, in which, you will be tested on how much you remember on the American government and its mechanisms.   2. back to home Tasks Complete these tasks using the resources given to you on the resource page. Task 1: Complete a well developed and written three to five page paper about three branches of government. Make sure to include the history, establishment and the mechanics of the three branches of government. Task 2: On this project you and another student will collaborate together to prepare a power point or poster describing how the three branches of power are distributedand shared and explain how distribution protects the common good.

  3. Process Back to home You are given internet links and suggested reading material on the resource page in order to research and develop your paper. You are also able to always use your teacher as a reference if you encounter any difficulties. For your power point or poster BE CREATIVE! On the resource page there are reading material and internet links specifically for this task. Use these to help you create your power point or poster.
