  2. TABLE OF CONTENTS Title Table of contents Question Hypothesis Materials Procedures Conclusion question? bibliography

  3. Question Do suction cups stick equally well to different surfaces?

  4. Hypothesis I predict that the suction cup will not stick equally well to each surface because suction cups stick differently to different surfaces. The smoother the surface the longer it sticks.

  5. Materials 3 suction cups Metal 3 3ounce weights Glass Plastic Paper Marker tape timer

  6. Procedures label the suction cups Label 1 suction cup p for plastic, g for glass and m for metal Place p suction cup on plastic and start timer Record data on paper with the marker Do the same thing with g and m suction cup Repeat 5 times

  7. Conclusion My prediction was correct. it does not stick equally well to different surfaces because the highest time for glass was 20 minutes, metal was 5 minutes and plastic was 5 minutes. Therefore the times were not equal.
