  5. Tener: Here is the verb TO HAVE in Spanish Yo tengo (I have) Tú tienes (you have) Él/ella tiene (he/she has) Usted tiene (you (fml) have) Nosotros tenemos Ellos/Ellas tienen (they have) Ustedes tienen (You guys have)

  6. Tener As you know, TENER is sometimes used where in English we would use a form of the verb TO BE.

  8. Tener The verb TENER is also used to talk about your age. In English we say: I am ____ years old. In Spanish they say I have _____ years. Example: Yo tengo 14 años. I am 14 years old. Ella tiene 16 años. She is 16 years old.
