  3. Introduction • Liberia developed a Customs reform program contained in the Poverty Reduction Strategy • Donors IFC, EU, USAID, WORLD BANK, AfDB • UNCTAD Mandate • Phase One started in 2009 • Phase Two Started in 2012

IMMEDIATE RESULTS • Implemented ASYCUDA in record period of time(Six months) • Adjustment to automation by stakeholders • Increase in average monthly revenue(average of about 4.5M to 7M in the first One year after automation at the pilot site(Freeport) • Decrease in clearance time from 36 days before automation to less than 10 days in the first of automation
