  3. How can Reading minimize Climate Change? • Support existing Town conservations efforts for energy, water and recycling • Implement ACCCP’s Climate Action Plans • Engage, Educate, and Encourage the Community

How Plan Was Developed • Compiled of a comprehensive plan from: • Emission Inventory results • Relevant actions from plans of other CCP towns • Our own brainstorming • Conversations with people active in town • Consulted with • Town Manager and his staff • Town Departments • RMLD and the board • Members of the Board of Selectman • The Town of Reading Master Plan

What is the Climate Action Plan • Policies, programs, and measures—Reading can take to meet its GHG reduction target • How actions will be implemented such as timeline, financing, and acknowledgement of responsibility to town departments, staff and community • A living document to be implemented
