Enhancing Campus Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Initiatives at Drake University

Drake University is committed to promoting energy efficiency and sustainability through various initiatives. Partnering with MidAmerican Energy, we offer the free "Business Check" energy audit to local businesses. A proprietary certification system for adapters is under development, along with plans for a mobile app that will aid in monitoring sustainability efforts. Our Green Dorm Initiative will track water, waste, and energy usage, while collaborating with facilities to enhance recycling programs. The campus aims for Energy Star Certification with the help of passionate student leaders and a dedicated R&D committee.
